It’s been balanced and accurate. Kennedys want to be worshipped rather than have the negatives come out. Protecting the brand.

Kinear is top notch. Captures the wit, charm, and weaknesses of JFK. Makes him human. Deserves an Emmy but highly unlikely given the politics.

Worst Boston accent ever: Kevin Costner in 13 Days I believe is the title. About the Cuban Missle Crisis.

Sorry Tiger. Kinears acting was thoughtful and very good but I felt like he was more than lazy in not portraying JFK with a Bostonian accent.

The other actors took their jobs more seriously.

Good series though.

The best Cuban Missile story (and I do mean story) ever, is William F. Buckley’s “Seeya Later, Alligator.” Of course, it’ll never be a movie, because it’s probably closer to the truth about what happened than anything we’ve yet been told. If you haven’t read it, order it.
