Rebecca Black is the Florence Foster Jenkins of the You Tube age.
RE: Rebecca Black is the Florence Foster Jenkins of the You Tube age.
Th difference is we have MANY Florence Foster Jenkins even in our recording industry. Technology is advanced to a point where anyone who can’t sing on key can be AUTO-TUNED.
See here :
HOW TO CREATE A SEXY POP STAR ( even if she can’t sing ) :

And to think a talented person such as Orb Vroomer doing his remake of High Roller on a drumKAT barely gets any hits. (make sure you watch the good version,ha)

Okay, then. Rebecca Black is *A* Florence Foster Jenkins of the You Tube age.
Oh. Dear . God.
Pop music just sucks nowadays.
I will say this, it is a million times better than Willow Smith’s absolute piece of crap song “Whip My Hair” that would never have been recorded if her parents hadn’t called in every favor they have in Hollywood. that is the worst piece of garbage ever to make noise.
P.S. If you want to hear a damn fine record, check out Jason Isbell’s new one “Here We Rest” that came out today.
I still prefer it over any Lady Gaga crap.
That’s a kick. The guy really does sound like Bob.
That’s terrible.......
Relax, dude...We survived Al Gore doing the macarena...this is small potatoes by comparison..
Somehow, Hicks, Colbert and Fallon managed to make the song fun. Great version!
Watch the Jimmy Fallon-Stephen Colbert-Taylor Hicks parody of the song here:
