It would be nice if the birthers would at least agree on the amount ... other threads say $1 million and yet others say 'several' million.
Anybody have copies of his attorney's fees receipts, or are you simply repeating something you heard or read somewhere?
What’s your point?
No, no, they all agree it’s $2 million, and none have any documentation to prove it.

Not long after Obama was elected, I recall downloading the .xls of Obama's campaign expenditures from the FEC website. The total was about $720m as I recall. Of the total, about $1.2m was for legal services, most of it with Perkins, Coie. That was for all legal services, not broken down by matter. One sixth of one percent.
My conclusion at the time was that the proportion spent on birther defense was probably one sixth percent of one sixth of one percent. No court would grant standing. Nothing much to do for Obama's lawyers.
I'd have to revise my low estimate upward after yesterday. After all, the White House did put Obama's personal counsel, Perkins Coie partner Judy Corley on an airplane to Honolulu to personally pick up the paperwork and courier it back to the White House (were locked briefcases and handcuffs involved?). I'm sure UPS would have done it for far less (albeit at the risk of stirring up another Chinese missile scare conspiracy morons are excitable, you know).
