It’s the only way Trump can stay relevant politically. He has zero chance of winning the GOP nomination, so if he really wants to create havoc he can run indie and siphon off upwards of 5% or so of the anti-Obama vote. That would probably be enough to ensure Hussein gets a second term.
Even though the vast majority of conservatives, Republicans and Tea Party folks would know better than to vote 3rd party, there are always some hard heads who are determined to throw their vote away as some bizarre form of protest. Just look at New York right now, a conservative district is in some danger of falling into Democratic hands because some fake Tea Party spoiler is running indie. Unfortunately, some people, whether ignorant or just plain stubborn will vote for that 3rd party candidate and may well cost us the seat by splitting the conservative vote.
We already have a 3 party system, the Tea Party & the Pubbies do not agree, has the author of this article forgotten last November so quickly??
