I think they are intentionally trying to suck. Think of “The Losing Edge” episode.

Any epi with BHO is bound to be bad because of the CBS corporate overlords.

The Cartman “my mom f*&%ed me” bit saved the first episode. Have to respectfully disagree. I thought the whole (ugh) "cuttlefish" bit -- and the fact that they made the guy up front an Asian -- was comedy gold.
And Steve Jobs looked sickly, which is pretty sick. In a good way.
