AFAIK, videotaping is a non-contact sport. Shoving the cop is what might get the dude 6 years behind bars, not the videotaping.

I agree with you. If the guy had just backed off he could still have used his camera, but he had to push the cop and that is what got him in trouble.
It amazes me the number of cop haters who post here and ignore the facts in the articles to scream and yell about how bad cops are. Makes me wonder how many FR posters are ex cons or maybe currently serving cons. Sure are a lot of cop haters on here for being a conservative site.
