As the deadline for the Apocalpyse passed in the Pacific islands, New Zealand and Australia, it seems the end of the world prediction is fizzling.
Twitter users around the world expressed their mock disappointment to the "non-rapture."
Daniel Boerman tweeted: "I'm from New Zealand, it is 6:06PM, the world has NOT ended. No earthquakes here, all waiting for the rapture can relax for now. #Rapture"
In Australia, Jon Gall tweeted: "#Rapture time here in Melbourne. A rather quiet sort of rapture if you ask me." Also writing, "Well we have had the #Rapture going for 50 minutes now. So far it hasn't interrupted my fish & chips and glass of stout."
Similarly disappointed KillaJeules wrote, "So it's 6:37pm here in Brisbane, Australia. No earthquakes. No beaming up of Christians. No zombie apocalypse. No surprises haha."

The last time the date passed in 94 I tuned in to see what he said. His “Open Forum” was beseiged with disappointed followers.
He basically said, well, there is a verse about Jesus tarrying, so if you add on the numbers in that verse it could be a few weeks or months more.
When those dates passed, he said his math was off and he went to figure out these new dates.
The sin is called being unteachable. There is an arrogance, a pride, to saying, I have figured out something in the bible no one else in 2000 years has. If it doesn’t work out, it’s not me that really wrong. I just have to figure it out again.
He’s been told over and over again by hundreds of Godly and learned men that his methods are flawed. He doesn’t want to hear it.
“Camping is a victim of replacement theology.”
I don’t think “victim” is the correct word. Try “product”. This man knows very well what he is doing, and he did so at the peril of the souls who heard and listened to his perverted message. He is a complicit and culpable voice for satan.
Perhaps it was an invisible rapture. The persons walking have really been raptured by they appear to here so the non raptured persons won’t be unduly upset. Come to think of it, I do feel a little out of sort. OH! Maybe, I just neet another coffee.
That’s it... clones will be left behind.
Cross out the first part and use “We survived” ;)
I’ve heard Camping on shortwave a couple of times. He sounds like Homer Simpson.
To me, the jump-the-shark moment was the idea that the rapture would come time zone by time zone. Not that I believed the prediction anyway (I believe it will eventually happen, just not today) but I just don’t think God is particularly interested in conducting major events based on man-made time zones.
Just soes you know, IMO, all this talk of a Rapture, Christmas, Easter, yadda, yadda, yadda, is heart-breaking.
People separate themselves into groups but they are NOT separate.
We ARE ALL the same.
Jesus of Nazareth showed the possibility of Christ in/for man.
The Christ is in ALL things ALL the time.
Hi guys! Just been given a few moments at the keyboard to tie up a few loose ends. All I’m allowed to say is those of us who were going to be taken have gone. So if you’re still there, good luck...
Gee, thanks...
Don’t let the door hit ya.
You may be right. He did it after the event did not happen in 1994.
Awww, man. You mean this head-splitting hangover isn’t going to end at 6 O’clock???
Let’s just make muslim pig roast day.
Matthew 24:36 - “No one knows when that day or hour will come. Even the angels in heaven and the Son dont know. Only the Father knows.

When apostate movements generate and promote exact dates of the rapture, they are essentially saying, based on this verse, that Christ is a liar.
God never instructed the prophets of the old testament or the apostles of the new testament to give “clues” in the scriptures regarding the EXACT date (month/day/year) of the rapture or the second coming of Christ. There was prophetic signs given regarding the end times but these are based on the overall status of Israel and the overall moral status of the Church and the world.
There is NO theme in any part of the Bible where where the reader is instructed to “read between the lines”, add and subtract numbers, and extrapolate trends in order to come up with an EXACT DATE of any future event. Rapture or Secound Coming of Christ.
Yet, the apostate “christian” movements continue to issue date and time after date and time, looking more and more ridiculous. Both to the world and to the real Church.
No. Need to leave that call to the folks who escaped from the padded cells.
You noticed that too?
It's like taking an MSM reporter or columnist as an example and claiming that ALL reporters, and editors are ignorant, drunken, drug-addled perverts.
Wait...
Never mind.
Begging the question, when did you ever hear a sane theory proposed (or even adumbrated) on Coast-to-Coast?
hey, WIFI works up here. The clouds are beautiful. Oh wait, that’s White Cloud TP. I’m on the floor passed out again...
The Jehovah’s Witnesses believe in Ends Times prophecy. I remember a neighbor who was a JW and they all believed that Armageddon was to occur in 1975. If I recall correctly, Armageddon did not occur in 1975.
