In honor of National Brisket Day.
My late aunt’s beer brisket.
Simple enough for a clod like me to prepare, and as a bonus, contains my two favorite ingredients.
Chop one onion and a couple of garlic cloves.
Add 2 Tbsp. of brown sugar, 1/2 cup chili sauce and 1 beer.
Mix ingredients well and pour over 3-4 lb. brisket.
Cover tightly and bake at 350 for 3-1/2 hrs.
Uncover and cook for another 1/2 hr.
