Agreed. Poster should establish a relationship with dealer(s) in his/her area; for the most part they will be priced competitively, be sincerely interested in customer satisfaction and repeat business, and most importantly, not here today, gone tomorrow.
Use the gun show to compare prices and a evaluate a wide variety of firearms in the flesh. Then buy from a business in your town.

If this is the Dallas Gunshow, everyone is competing against Bachman Pawn and Gun and the prices, even when factoring in the cost and hassle of going to the show, are about as best as can be expected short of buying the guns stolen.
