You could help change her life!

Portwine stain birthmarks run in my family. They can be debilitating...but, in todays world I would think being called out—about a birthmark could be a blessing in disquise. A customer of my employer makes an ugly comment about my appearance. My feeling are hurt, I am embarrassed infront of my co-workers. What to do? Quit? Cry in the break room? Why...I know...lawyer up.

And then have enough money (from the sweet out of court settlement) to pay for the laser surgery to remove the birthmark!

Seriously...many people have vascular birthmarks...calling attention to someones appearance (because you don’t like it) is cruel at best...and law suit inducing at worst.

Seriously, this is not at all what I was talking about. One day a girl has no mark on her neck then she has a huge bruised hickey mark on the front of her neck and that is somehow a birthmark. She choose to have it there she was not born with it. What if this same girl decides to have a tattoo of a private body part or “f**k you” on an exposed area of skin while working? In your opinion that is appropriate in a professional place of business? Freedom of expression, is that what the issue is about? Not buying that for a minute. If that is the case no one would wear uniforms for their jobs.
