I recall [as a kid] bringing my piggy bank to the 5 and dime [remember those?] and seeing, very infrequently stuff *Made in Japan*...which I avoided like the plague b/c my uncle died at the hands of a Japanese soldier at Luzon.
It won’t happen in my lifetime, but one day, we’ll probably embrace the Chinese [since they own us anyway].
