It just didn’t get into the news. At my high school, about five years after I graduated, 1975? (my siblings were still there and kept me posted on the tale) a student was shot to death in a girl’s gym teacher’s house by her husband. He came home unexpectedly and she cried rape.
Turned out she had been banging multiple students of both sexes for years and just got caught. It being a small town, the hubby was acquitted on the unwritten law.
Have to agree. Just a couple of years after I graduated, my high school’s health teacher left his wife for a 17 year old student.
