No one needs them as they are all in the mirrors or dashes these days. Mine has melted.
i'm from MI, i think my thermometer would get really confused if i went down there, i'm not even sure it has the ability to project a 1 on the left (i've never seen it), but it sure knows how to put that - over there.

Same here when we took our vehicle to Colorado to go skiing. What is this hyphen to the left of the numbers?
