This bunch travels all over the US. The camp out on public land, state or federal. They show up just outside of my small Alabama town about once every 5 years. They camp out about 8 miles outside of town on National Forest land and stay about a month. You’ll see them walking about town on occasion. Seem to be harmless. Pot is their drug of choice and I think they are pretty loose with their sexuality. All in all they are kinda one of the oddities of our time. It always causes a stir around here when they show up.
I’d rather load up the manure spreader and drive the John Deere through their encampment at 1 in the morning.Six thousand pounds of horse turds should get their attention.
They camped out in AZ a few years ago... fortunately on the other end of the state. Locals/local authorities helped them ‘move along’ since we’re at the intersection of a couple major routes from Cali to their destination.
The last thing any area wants is the Rainbow Family. They not only wreak havoc in nearby towns, the forests in which they camp take years to recover. They are a human napalm strike.
If you ever want to see what America would be like if libs take total control, go to a Rainbow Family gathering. But I do not recommend it.
I hope they do not find and pollute the Wind River, and its cool hot spring.
But if they do find it I hope they all get exposed to the abundant poison oak that thrives on the river trail up there.
Only by improving the hygiene in the area. That’s barely an exaggeration.
My wife an I ran into their gathering in the Sawtooths near Stanley, Idaho (early 2000s, can't remember the year). They stomped all over the salmon spawning headwaters, trashed the area, overwhelmed the local stores in Stanley, and left melting heaps of rotted-out VWs all along the way. Guess them old Fascist-mobiles can't take climbing and heat.
We’re going need allot more than one Cartman. He needs to be cloned.

Where are you?
I was in MT several years ago (10 maybe?) when they came there and then about 4 years ago I was here in Albuquerque when they visited Cuba, NM which is NW of Albuquerque - what a mess they left in both places.
I feel terrible for whatever area they visit - it’s always a mess to clean up and lots of issues with drugs and fighting.

When they camped in the Apache-Sitgraves forest,the nearest hospital set up portable showers with soap the Rainbows were required before being seen because they were so filthy and stank.
I’m seeing them at yankee stadium in septbmer as part of big fou tour.
Some sort of explanation, or maybe pictures would make this easier to understand.

What are their numbers? Who funds them? Do they have a calendar so their next victims can take countermeasures?
