Rossi has had a hard go of it. Years ago, he didn’t understand why it worked, just that it did and he didn’t know how to explain why it worked. I’m not sure that he does yet. I believe he is hoping the university deep thinker, all brain types will find those answers and be able to explain it to the scientist types.
At risk of being untrue to my "scientist" background, I personally don't care whether or not he can explain it. What counts is that it works. EXPERIMENT RULES, BABY!!
And if it does work, he will have redeemed his somewhat stormy past.....BIG TIME. My own personal take is that he is really a stifled idealist who has had some really bad breaks, but every time things have turned to sh*t, he has come back to trying to do things that benefit both mankind and the environment. EVERY technical effort he has worked on has been to those ends. And those choices are NOT the actions of a "scammer".
Heck, if he wanted to make big bucks with scams, he needed to go into financial management.
