Mila Kunis agrees to date with Marine

Mila Kunis has agreed to go on a date with a Marine.

The 'Friends With Benefits' actress - who recently split from Macaulay Culkin after eight years of dating - was recently asked by Sgt. Scott Moore of the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines to accompany him to the upcoming Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, North Carolina, on November 18.

Posting a YouTube message from his base in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, he said: "Hi Mila, I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball with yours truly. So take a second to think about it and get back to me. All right, bye now."

After being asked by 'Friends With Benefits' co-star Justin Timberlake whether she was planning on taking him up on his offer, Mila told him: "I'll go, I'll do it for you. Are you going to come?"

Justin replied: "They don't want me! They want you. You need to do it for your country."

Mila confirmed to Fox News: "I'll do it!"

However, it's unlikely the 27-year-old beauty will be dancing with Scott, as after suffering a number of injuries while playing a professional ballerina in 'Black Swan', she vowed never to dance again.

She said: "I had never danced in my life. I trained for four months, seven days a week, five hours a day. I had one day off on my birthday. I lost 20 pounds. I tore a ligament. I dislocated my shoulder. I have two scars on my back. And it was worth every minute.

"But I will never dance again. I was like, 'Well - I wear heels; I can do this.' I was wrong. Christian Louboutins are uncomfortable, but I screamed the first time I put on a pointed shoe."

She dated Macaulay Culkin? Isn’t he kind of a drugged douchebag now?

It’s obvious he is attracted to her because of her mind. They ought to have TONS to talk about. Like, really.

Wow! For her, the terrorists would give up their fight and possibly even their goats.

The Ball the article is refering to is the Marine Corps’ Birthday Ball. It is held November 10th each year, not the 18th as the article states.

I know Air force retirees that spent a lot of time at various US Embassies around the world. They all told me the highlight of their year was to be invited by the Marines to the Birthday Ball.

The Ball follows a strict format that touches upon the History, and Traditions of the Corps along with a contempory message from the Current Commadant. It is a very moving and patriotic event.

I never had a problem getting a date for the Ball, even when stationed at the remote Maine base in 29 Palms at the height of the Vietnam war, and anti-War protests.

Even if Mila does not feel entirely honored at this juncture, she will be after attendance. Mila will remember the Ball for the rest of her life.

After dating Macaulay for eight years, she finally gets to go out with a real man.

Of course she’d have more fun with a sailor.

It’s a good thing FR doesn’t monitor thoughts. I’d be zotted to Siberia.

During my embassy years, 1976-1997, my late wife and I were privleged to attend many Marine Corps Balls in several different countries. It’s a great tradition.
