BEFORE YOU LIONIZE! Go to About This Mac, go into the Software | Applications section to get a list of all your applications. Click on the Kind column to sort by app type. Now make sure that you have no remaining apps of type "Power PC". These are the apps that will not run under lion.

Oooops...just found that out...my MS Office Suite is no longer supported. INCLUDING MS Entourage Mail app. Oh well, time to get the new MS OFFICE.
