Listen to her radio show. While she does want real cuts, she is not completely against raising the debt limit and she is well aware of the politics of this situation. She even said we should not attack McConnell over his "plan B".
This is about politics as much as it is doing something right for the country for a change. If Obama ends up looking like the reasonable person here he will win the PR war which would force the Republicans to cave anyway.
I'm sorry, but people are just deluding themselves if they believe the country is really in favor of cutting much of anything. Americans are for that in theory - till the very moment ANY social program actually isn't funded and the crying welfare recipients are on TV claiming they are starving to death. The majority of the public will DEMAND those programs get funded again. Heck, the public will probably demand a deal if so much as public parks are closed for very long.
Bottom line, things are going to have to get a lot worse before what passes for the American public these days are really willing to make serious cuts and begin curtailing the social welfare state. This debt ceiling debate is simply about positioning for the 2012 elections and I expect nothing major to come out of it.
I heard that West said he would not join OReilly tonight. hmmm. That first segment might have pissed him off. Love that military man.....

Just this week, Ingraham spoke of how making decisions in DC is complicated, and one has to factor in all the moving parts, a statement made in reference to the budget (and a slap at the “simplistic Tea Party”). This, along with her statement, “Gov. Palin is not running. It's silly to discuss her at this point”, tells me who Ingraham truly is, another Washington elitist trying to portray herself (much like O’Reilly) as just regular folk. The image probably helps her sell her books (much like another "Conservative" author we all know), but also keep in mind that "Conservative" Ingraham was a huge Romney supporter in ‘08.
STOP WATCHING HIM!!!!! I had to turn him off a couple of years ago because I had the same reaction you are having!
Charles is filling in for the Judge tonight but he, too, is one of the few good guys. I did switch over to Criminal Minds when he had Rangel on talking about his “What Would Jesus Do” statement.
After degrading the Tea party the way Oreilly just did, can you blame him??

I happened to catch him tonight, and the beginning of his show reminded why I don’t tune in anymore.
He is conceited AND stupid—and that is no way to go through life.

When you understand BOR is actually your enemy you will stop watching him
We still have our old TV, and we aren’t sure we are gonna replace it when it goes.
However, my mother has a flat panel (not hooked up to anything) and when she heads out to CA for the winter, it comes over here.
And, my BP went down.
A few months after I canceled the service, a Comcast rep called with a survey of why I had canceled. I was polite but that conversation didn't last long. She ended it with "Never mind!"!
Participate, don’t just watch.
Watch him with an "open mind" some time (ie not colored with your conservative beliefs) and you will quickly come to the realization that BOR is all about BOR. Everything he says is calculated to either add to or hold on to his viewership numbers. And he's good at it. Is he conservative? No! Is he smart? No. He is very clever though, and is very good at getting people to watch his show. With this segment in the can, he can now count on a flood of Tea Party people watching his program for a while.
Your best bet is to stop watching him. He's agitating on purpose. He wants you to be mad so you'll continue to watch. Again, just turn him off.
As an aside, watch him do his "No Spin Zone." If he had to label the segment truthfully, it would have to be called the "No Spin but My Own Zone."
I look at it more simply,He has to stir the pot and piss some people off( Ratings ). Watch the morning Headlines,if it gets legs on what he said.Watch HGTV tomorrow night...but Call/Fax/Email Congressman they work for Us not BOR

The Tea Party is the citizens' last attempt to play by the rules, in my opinion.
