My grandson is a classic example of an over-nurtured child. His mother PLEADS with him to mind her and makes all sorts of threats that she never follows up on. And when I was watching him alone he needed to “go number 2” and wanted me to “wipe” him!? He’s frickin 6 and a half!!!
I told him that I wasn’t going to and I learned to wipe myself before I was five. He somehow managed. ;-)
The kid is so unruly that he drives the family crazy. But he’s learned to mind me. I follow through with my threats and, other than bruises and one broken bone, he’s doing fine. ;-)

Last weekend ata s tore I heard this little boy screaming for his mother. He was about 5 and wanted the same thing. She went in to the bathroom. We have a nationof defectives.
OMG! Have you asked the mom how long she plans to wipe his butt?
My nephew in law “needed” his butt wiped until age 7. Now he’s 26 and a complete loser, no job, no desire for a job, never does anything to help around. The later they learn to wipe their own butt literally the longer it takes them to figure it out metaphorically.
