If I didn't want to be reachable by my wife, the phone would stay on the counter even when I left the house. I have trouble understanding why people feel the need to be connected and integrated 24/7.
“I have trouble understanding why people feel the need to be connected and integrated 24/7.”
You do realize that nobody puts a gun to your head and makes you answer a call or text.
I love having access to the internet when I’m out and about. I can even hit Free Republic while when I’m stuck somewhere with nothing to do.
The phone works as a digital book reading device, it sure beats reading the graffiti on the wall when you are in the can.
It also works as a GPS device that I don’t have to worry about somebody breaking my window and stealing.
It is also the most flexible alarm clock I have ever owned, that keeps perfect time and works if the power is out.
It also works as a MP3 player, great for listening to audiobooks when I’m mowing or working on the tractor.
I’ve also taken some interesting pictures that I would have never gotten if I didn’t have the camera on the phone.
I suppose if you’ve never had one, you could do without, but after having all of these tools at my finger tips, I would hate to do without.
