It will have a still, but I don’t think I will have grain to spare for whiskey. Maybe there is some other form of liquor I can make locally.

At least before the event, the water is pure enough to drink without any processing if you don’t mind risking lysteria even though there is very little chance of it

There are some wild fruits that are too sour or seedy to eat fresh, that would ferment and could be distilled to make vodka. Actually, just about anything with edible sugars or starches can be used to make vodka, in theory.
