Ah heck, you’re right: you are the beloved darling of the Mods.

I have to take what affection I can get. The Religion Mod set fire to my house this morning, but I’m pretty sure her eyes were smiling.

I think it was her anyway. She was driving a monster truck and dressed as Milla Jovovich from the zombie films. That’s the Religion Mod, right?

I believe he enjoys stirring the pot. I´m all for it.

This unbalances all those boring scripted candidates.

Good for him.

I see the Fox New Producers are out in force today trying to spin the pathetic performance of their team last night.

Note to “News Media” egomaniacs. We are not there to see you, your ONLY function is to moderate the debate, not try to direct it.

Last night was another example of why the US Public loaths “Journalists” more they they do Use Cars Salesmen. Your job is to simply ask the question, not interject your Hindinburg sized egos into the story line.

Chris Wallace is a little lefty weasel. Never doubt where his sympathies lay. After his ambush of Michelle Bachmann a few weeks ago and the obligatory walk back you would think he would have wised up enough to leave Newt alone. I was so glad to see the little twerp get beach slapped by Newt.

If anyone thinks Wallace is unfair or tough, wait till our eventual nominee is questioned by the MSM in the presidential debates - it'll get much worse.

SO what your saying is Wallace wasted the only opportunity we will probably have to hear what thesse guys have to say on substantive issues on a national stage.

Wallace did no one but Obama any favors.

I heard far more substance in the questions this time

No you didn't. You heard the same lame Journalist with over inflated egos trying to interject themselves into the story style question the CNN clowns asked last time.

American Voters really DO NOT CARE, what any of the Junk Media talking heads think. The audience wants to find out about what the candidate's program would be, what their stance on issues is, they are NOT their to watch Chris Wallace do is "Aren't I a tough brave Journalist" clown act.

Frankly they should simply ban the Junk Media ego maniacs from moderating debates. They are all too busy preening for their fellow Journalists approval to do the Moderator job with even a minimal amount of competency.

“No you didn’t. “

YES, I did. And several of these questions will prepare the candidates for future debates.

Overall, I am praying for the ranks of journalists to be inundated with virtuous and objective reporters. However, the questioning in this debate was much improved from the first.

Which only gives credence to the idea that the smartest candidates weren’t even on stage last night. Hmmm.....

Finding out these candidates positions on various things takes moments. You can generally go their websites, just do a simple search or listen to a few of their campaign speeches to find out what their positions are on the issues.

What we need to find out is how these candidates hold up under fire. Hussein is going to throw hundreds of millions of dollars of negative advertising at our eventual nominee, and the press is going to play nothing but "gotcha" journalism when interviewing them - so what matters now is whether they can take the fire, how they respond to it, can they take a hostile situation and turn it in their favor, etc.

I think Fox did a pretty good job. The debate was actually extremely lively and gave us a chance to see how our candidates handle pressure and scrutiny on the fly.

Its not about how they handle the pressure - that doesn't matter at all. Its about the headlines the media choose to write.

The question is the headline.

Why is Newt unelectable? Agree with the rest of your post.

“Why is Newt unelectable?”

I have nothing personal against Newt. I believe he was the smartest guy in the room last night, and could probably mop the floor with Obama in a debate between the two. But he has a whole list of issues with many conservatives. And being link to the Bush era doesn't sit well with swing voters. And as of today does not poll well. If he does poll Sunday in the top 5 then I will change my mind on his electability.

Thanks for the heads up. I had not heard of it. It’s about time we make the media report rather than manipulate. Thanks again!

Reality. Just look around. It's the general consensus. Enough already.

It's not so much the "Gatcha" question to Gingrich that made Chris Wallace's performance grating, but more so the tiff between Michele Bachmann and Tim Pawlenty that Wallace deliberately provoked. Perhaps he sensed that the "Minnesota twins" were not on the best of terms with each other to begin with and exploited the bad vibes between them.

In general, Wallace tries to be objective working for FOX, but it must be his father's CBS genes in him that cause him problems with questioning conservatives.
