An interesting question, in regards to what women think about Palin versus Bachman. So far, I’ve not quite gotten the sense that Bachman has received the ire from women that Palin has. My assumption is that Bachman is viewed more in the light of a typical politician (albeit a conservative one), whereas there’s something truly unique about Palin that transcends politics, into the realm of cultural iconography, where she is seen as a far more dangerous threat to liberalism, beyond simple politics. As such, I admit I tend view Palin as a much more powerful figure.

Don’t kid yourself, the Libs would be going after Bachmann with a vengeance if they thought she could get the GOP nomination/win the general election against Obama.

Truthfully Michele Bachmann is a sideshow.

We may think a lot of things about the Dems—evil, nefarious, Machaevellian etc but they are NOT stupid. Don’t confuse Obams’s drones with who runs the Democratic party and work directly for Obama. They know every trick in the book. They live and breathe politics on a 24/7 basis. They always know the lay of the land.

In sporting terms, Sarah Palin is a superstar; Michele Bachmann is a journeyman. In politics journeymen rarely prevail; in politics as in sports, superstars dominate and win a lot more often than they lose.

That is why Sarah Palin is dangerous to the Left. Everything else—narratives, memes, disinformation, propaganda—is smoke and mirrors.
