There was a situation where the father took away a boy’s German Shepherd and sent him to an animal shelter because the father wanted to punish the boy for poor grades. The shelter thought they would come back because the boy was crying but they did not. Fortunately the local rescue was able to find the dog a nice home.
Lord Have mercy! I cannot stand people who treat animals as if they are things: like telephones, television sets, etc... THOSE are “things” to be removed when grades go down — not so the family pet!! People who do things like that are the scum of the earth. Truly, truly vile!!
