If elected, Rick Perry will be the most conservative since Ronald Reagan. Anyone trying to destroy him is harming the conservative movement and helping Barrack Obama.
Aggreing with you. I think everyone needs to chill out.
Where are the optimist in our Party today? Im sick of the infighting between people who have their favorites, and are too eager to help the left wing media destroy the competition or the poll leader. We should be glad of the candidates we have and those that may still jump in.
Go back to last year at this time when it looked like the field was going to be the same names as 2008 minus Fred Thompson and McCain. The names popping up then were Huntsman, Huckabee, Romney, Rudy, and Ron Paul. At the time It looked very dismal and the talk on FR was depressing. It was nothing but RINOs on the list, or those who had zero chance of a nomination.
Move forward one year and we have a field with people like, Bachmann, Perry, and Cain, Newt, and one or two more names that are still possibilities. That would be a dream come true, if you were to ask us a year ago.
“If elected, Rick Perry will be the most conservative since Ronald Reagan.”
Yet to be proved. He was a Democrat and supported Democrat campaigns until he saw opportunity as a Republican in a changing Texas political landscape.
His stand on illegal immigration is almost as bad as Obama.
He represents the big money Republicans who have disdain for the conservatives who make America America.
He has a lot to prove before he gets Reagan’s mantle. He can start by disavowing his pro amnesty/cheap labor stand.
I say you have the best reply also.
