I brought the Asbach Uralt. It makes the very best Rudesheimer coffee, which I, of course, make a great American version of with my own famous recipe.

shot of uralt in cup.
tbs of sugar in cup.
20 second microwave.
light uralt with long-handled lighter
burn for 30 seconds, blow out flame
add 1/2 cup strong coffee (kenyan or ethiopian)
add cream and stir
add whipped cream
sprinkle with chocolate flakes or dust

pretend it’s the caffein you enjoy. This perfect balance of fast and slow will keep you at the posted limit of 55.

I was in Rudescheim a couple of years ago. Drank some Ansbach and brought some home to drink (all gone now). We also took the ferry across the Rhine (fastest-moving river I’ve ever seen) at Rudescheim to view the giant Germania statue commemorating the Franco Prussian war.

Love Germany. Can’t wait to try your recipe.

I'm surprised! Not many people know of a Ruedesheimer Kaffee.
