The next day I get a call from a guy with Home Depot. He starts to explain to me how their statistics show people like the self-checkouts, etc. The guy was a hoot. We talked for about an hour. He had a heavy New York or New Jersey accent and went on and on about the topic at hand. We had a nice conversation and after I hung up I received a long fax from the guy. It was full of statistics about the self-checkouts. Pages of the stuff. The odd thing was that each page had a big stamp on it that said "Board Members Only!"
When I was talking to the fellow I jotted his name down. His name was Ken Langone. I googled the name and after reading a little I thought "wow, I just spoke with a very wealthy guy". It was pretty cool and I have talked to him since then and to the people that work for him.....

I did this time...and I do now remember this being discussed here a while back.
It’s just tough to play ball with this bunch. They are incredibly well organize and manage to increase their ‘apparent’ presence 100-fold. It sucks (so to speak).
Here in Houston, if there’s a story involving illegals, the comments run 10:1 against the illegals...which is great. However, when they run an article involving gays, the comments always seem to run against 10:1 in favor of the gays. This means that either there are a LOT of illegal-hating gays, or that the gays show up in huge numbers (way, way, disproportionate) when a gay story shows...but then don’t waste their time on much else.
Obviously it’s the second of the two...and they are the only group I’ve seen with this capability. They are very dangerous to this country.
Why should anyone go to the links you provide, when the topic was someone’s ideas for creating jobs in this country?

Home Depot is a horrible company. They’ve been proven to have stolen property from small business vendors. They support the gay movement.
They do not care what their customers think of them. This story is simply an effort to get some free press.
Hey guy I could care less if you go to those links or go to hell. Means nothing to me. You like to support gays hey that’s your thing. But I and most people here at FR do not. I don’t support or spend my money at businesses that support teaching our children gay sex in grade schools. I don’t support gay marriage. I don’t support gays in the military. Home Depot gives money to support these things. It appears you do too. Talk about being embarrassing to FR. There’s tons of websites for you guys. So go there and stay away from here.
That’s pretty cool. I know some on this post have said that Home Depot supports Gay Pride..I don’t know about that...but I was very impressed with what Bernie had to say and the patriotism he showed in the interview. He is truly a job creator.
