When did Rick Perry turn into... this guy?

That's Fred Willard, of Fernwood 2Night. Seriously, I strongly disrusted him when he announced his candidacy, but his presence reminded me a little of Reagan. Then, he looked strangely like Willard "Mitt" Romney. Now, he looks like Fred Willard. What happened? How does someone go from Reagan to Romney to Fred Willard? Did he tell an old gypsy, after getting creamed in the last debate that he wanted to have the debate skills and looks of Willard, meaning Romney, and got Fred, instead?

Has to be someone else out there. I’ll look the field over for alternatives, and hope others jump in. I can’t vote for these two guys.

There were tons of other people on that stage, I don’t remember any of the others ripping Romney a new one, why it is somehow Perry and only Perry’s job to be able to make Romney look bad in the debates.

No one else is making Romney look bad, there were a few debates before Perry entered, and no one laid a glove on Romney. You ever considered that Romney is just naturally good at debates? naaa.

Luckily we are electing a president and not a debate captain.

Not knowing Perry from Adam, I gave him three debates now to introduce himself to me, and show me what he's got. Conclusion - He's got nothing. Not trying to be mean, but he comes across as a total buffoon, and the lease prepared debater on stage. Obama would clean his clock in a debate. Even Romney looked good in comparison, and it pains me to say that.

I try to keep away from personal ribbing of those candidates who are not my choice, but this is so completely right on.

I was watching him last night on the debate, and thought Perry reminded me of someone, but I couldn’t place it.

Bingo ... mission accomplished. Remember Rick Perry told America in at least two interviews that he was not going to run in 2012. The GOP establishment talked him into it when their man Romney floundered so badly. Now Romney looks good by comparison. Karl Rove is a genius ... he's just not a conservative genius. Folks are waking up to the fact that Perry is just another country club republican. I hope people remember that is the same reason they mis-trusted Romney in the first place. About half the playing field on the stage were were small government conservatives, about half were not. This election we must choose wisely.

Man oh man, I really wanted Perry to be the “man”, but he really sucks! He is dead wrong on illegal immigration and answers questions like a school yard bully.

I hate to say this, but Newt looked to be the most Presidential and I agreed with Rick Santorum for the most part. However, Rick seemed too combative instead of a problem solver. Please Sarah, jump in soon.

BTW, why don’t they ask Herman Cain questions? I heard him at a Tea party and I liked what I heard.
