Not that anyone asked for my opinion on this but I am a Perry supporter even have bumper stickers on both my cars. Yes Dems I have 2 cars and a job so I guess I'm rich. But after last night I'm very concerned. Romney looked good. Perry did not it's that simple. I will stick by my candidate to the end. If it's Romney I'll vote for him over Barry for sure. Just had so much more hope for Perry. Tell me this isn't the best it gets with him.

I have at times in my past, thought Romney was bearable.
In fact after Duncan Hunter dropped out and Chuck Norris endorsed Huckabee in 2008, I settled on Romney as the best of a limited field.
Since then, I’ve very much soured on the guy. But he did pretty well yesterday, IMHO.
Liked Santorum - a lot.

I have been an avid Palin supporter. But I have been supporting Perry as well (at least until she makes a decision). But he's just is not ready for prime time. Same thing over and over. "We need to get America working again, yada yada, tort reform, blah blah low taxes."
No clear message.
And when he's asked for specifics, he stumbles. Romney looked presidential and would give Obama a much better fight. I hate to say it.
I mean look how bad he was and he was only part of a 2 hour debate for maybe 20 minutes (with 9 candidates). What happens when he's one on one for 2 hours. God it could get ugly.
That's why I think there is not a better opportunity for Palin to jump in and take the conservative mantle.
