At What Point for you did The Simpsons Become Unwatchable?Way back when, back when they started to trash the nuclear power industry . . . at that point, I'd had enough. Plus the fact that it was another "totally ignorant, stupid-ass husband" show. I tire of them in shows and commercials.
The “skateboard” episode—early on, the episode where Bart was going to do some dangerous skateboard stunt. His father forbid him to do it—and Bart basically told Homer_I will do what I want—and you can't stop me!! Homer's reaction—sit at the table and CRY!! I guess that is the most authority he felt he had over his son!!
That was the end for me, I had already been disappointed by other episodes—and that was the final straw.
