Load wasn't
that bad, and Reload wasn't completely
terrible. St. Anger was
pure crap, though, and Lars ruined whatever flow the album may have had with his staccato and slightly off-tempo drumming. I literally listened to that entire album twice and have never listened to it again. It's on a shelf somewhere; I never even troubled myself to dump it into Napster (then) or iTunes (now).
I also disagree with the inclusion of Bark at the Moon, but then again, I was 11 years old or so then, so perhaps I wasn't the best critic for that work by Ozzy.
There would have been just enough from the 3 albums to make 1 good one, but someone decided to pump out albums during a really bad time in the personal lives of the band.
I read a story about Lars. Didn't know some of his history, growing up a spoiled rich kid with a tennis pro daddy. Kind of explains some things.
