IMHO people are very, very worried about our country, and the power that the leftists seem to have over the general populace. Tie that in with what looks to be an all-out effort by the Republican establishment to manipulate the GOP against anyone but inside-the-beltway, let's-all-be-Democrat-lite candidates (Romney), and the fear is palpable.
Right now, we're on a roller coaster ride regarding the conservative standard-bearer; who's up, who's down. People gravitate to the one they think can pull it off, and attack anyone who thinks otherwise.
For myself, I'm willing to wait until the dust clears. Hopefully by next spring, we'll have someone we can get behind. Until then, try to enjoy the ride.
