Good point. Another problem I see is the vast inconsistency within the law. Had that same 16yo committed a felony, you can bet the same prosecutor would charge him as an adult. So, is he a man or a boy? I recognize that the law does not need to be completely consistent or balanced (reverse the genders and we would all be ready to hang the teacher), but our kids are confused by it all. After all, girls can get an abortion without their parents’ consent.

I’ve read the posts up to 71. Most convict her because she doesn’t weigh 99# or less. Of my trysts as a youth, the plus size women were far more passionate than the skinny ones.

My take on this is that the male was a WILLING participant. At that age most males walk with a perpetual..... Any woman willing to relieve him of this condition would be more than welcome. I won’t reveal my past, but, I was not damaged.

Males and females differ. Long term effects weigh differently. Bottom line is that if you feel you love this person you give yourself freely. If you are ravaged, that is an entire new story.
