Instead you download the free Foxit Reader. It's much, much faster than Acrobat Reader. Make sure you DON'T allow PDF documents to be opened in your browser (there will be two settings for that, IIRC.)
Could you elaborate please? I’ve pulled up foxit reader and there is also a PDF editor foxit program available. I don’t want to delete all Adobe files if this isn’t going to work. In all due respect, I need your advise. Thanks.
Just checked the website... it says it needs XP SP2 or above... I’m running W2K SP4 on my laptop, so it might not work...
as soon as I hit “POST” somebody will probably get all snarky about W2K...
Doesn’t seem to be compatible with W2K, missing DLL file. If I get ambitious, I might copy it over from one of my XP machines...
GDIPLUS.DLL is apparently part of the .NET Framework package, I copied a 2005 version over from another machine and FOXIT installed clean. (as far as I can tell)
