This reminds me of a movie shot by two train buffs in the early 50s. They used a car to “pace” a Detroit streetcar from the end of the line to downtown (along Woodward Ave?) with color film. It’s very reminiscent of this movie...it too captured a bygone era.
There was also a good one from San Francisco before the big quake.
