I wanted to share a FACEBOOK private Message I received tonight from an old friend (actually, my first boyfriend) who now lives in Massachussetts. Anyone who is my FACEBOOK friend knows my politics, hence..this..
Hi Hildy, I write to you privately so as not to air our differences in public.
Do you still think much of Herman Caine, [sic] who knows nothing of foreign affairs, and admits it. Is this who should make decisions that will effect the entire world? Do you really not believe that it is the 1% are the ones who the republicans cater to? Do you really believe that they care about "Joe six pack", or just lure him in to believe that he too can have some of that American pie "? I live in a million dollar home and have considerable savings, but still have the heart to care about those less fortunate.I truly believe that the republicans are about keeping the tax cuts for the extremely wealthy and let the poor working schmuck pay all the rest. I find this despicable, and don't mind paying my fair share of tax's, as long as the supper wealthy pay their share. What's your take on this?
My first instinct would be to point out how many self-made billionaires have created jobs and wealth for millions of people AND support a lot of charitable causes. Can the lefties claim the same of their own actions?
Warren Buffett, George Soros, Bill Gates, Michael Moore. Those are democrats. That's the 1%. A lot of those trust fund babies out protesting have it real easy too living under mom and dad's roof.

I don't live in a million dollar home, or even a $200K home. I own two business, have high debt, and barely have enough to pay the bills and loans. If richboy here wants to do me a favor, he can tell his democrats to get the hell out of my way. If he cares about poor working schmucks, he can open up his checkbook and donate himself. If richboy wants to see folks like me hire somebody, he can help pay my 30-45% federal tax rates, depending on my year. That doesn't account for my state, property, sales, auto registration, and gas taxes.
If Mr. Massachusetts wants to see the effect of what his democrats do, he should take a drive down Seven Mile in Detroit. Fifty years of democrats. Lawrence and Springfield in his own state may work too.

In ‘04, a friend sent me some lib friend of hers online search for pros and cons about John Kerry and W, so she could “intelligently” decide whom to vote for. I decided to pull out my “big Conservative guns” and wrote back a three page fact filled account of just what John Kerry and his entire DemRAT party stood for with some..er, colorful language.
My friend was mortified that I would speak to her protege that way...saying she was a lovely and thoughtful young woman who just wanted to start a “chat” about the candidates.
Well she shouldn’t have shown up in my inbox voicing anything other than loyalty and love for this country and first principles.
Talking with Libs(if you must) is like trying to teach a pig to sing. If this is your first go at it, you did a good job but you have to decide if it’s worth it going forward for the sake of your mental and emotional health!
BTW - a little research will show that Republicans give far more to charity than Democrats!

Hitler was a national socialist. Your friend is more likely an international socialist. The difference is paltry in most cases.

Note the words “I write to you privately so as not to air our differences in public.”
Not to make a big deal of it, why make it public to everyone if it is supposed to be a private message and the sender doesn’t want it aired in public regardless if his name is blanked out?
I certainly wouldn’t want my message aired out in public if I specifically mentioned to someone not to tell anyone. I know lots of people would probably agree. I am not defending his comments and I didn’t read them.
I know your thread will get lots of hits and people commenting.
I don’t want to start an argument, but I thought I would bring it out to your attention. If I sent you this comment in private email you might have aired it out in public.
Hildy you fireball. You'd make any conservative male proud (and us c. women too.). lol. I just love handing liberal men and women their ass in their hat :-D. They can't win debates or arguments. This is why they use character attacks etc.
Often if their heart and mind is open (or they just lost the debate :) they very much end up respecting me and know that BS ain't gonna fly and that they better watch what they say around me as I will challenge them. Life is good! You go Hildy.

Yes it is and I would’ve probably asked them if they bee live everything they are told because the way they wrote sounded like an ad from the DNC....
This was on Facebook and he was talking about doing it on Facebook and I didn’t mention his name here nor do I plan to. My point was to show the mentality we are fighting. I understand what you’re saying though. So noted. But nobody here knows who he is and I seriously doubt he has ever heard of us!
Yeah I get annoying liberal political messeages on FB all the time. Then I just have to tell my two brothers to knock it off. LOL! They’re both getting Reckless Endangerment for Christmas presents.
