As I said, Cain’s devotees would stick with him no matter how much proof was presented...as for non-devotees, a fair amount of proof actually has been presented. Cain is the one who has offered no substantial proof that these things didn’t happen (i.e., that he was elsewhere at the time, that he was with someone at the time, etc.) and has even lied about the documented events (the employment settlements).

Now I see people here rationalizing it and even say, well, hey, so what’s wrong if he gets a little on the side every now and then. What red-blooded guy doesn’t? This overlooks issues like abuse of power, abuse of trust, and basic honesty. Cain is a Baptist minister, after all, so he should supposedly know better.

Remember, as with Clinton, it’s not about the sex, it’s about the lying. And Cain has certainly been doing a lot of that. Frankly, I’d suspect he never even mentioned the mistress to the expensive attorney he bought to attack the other women. Even the attorney sounded a little non-plussed.

“... a fair amount of proof actually has been presented” against Cain.

Uh, no. ACCUSATIONS, yes. PROOF — nope.

Dang, woman, what is your issue with Cain? Why the assumption of guilt? Why believe the conservative-HATING MSM rather than the plain facts before our eyes?

That is simply not true. I am a HUGE supporter and am waiting for answers.

I learned with Nixon, believe it or not. I used to tell my friends that the only thing that he did that the other politicians didn’t do was get caught. One day I did some serious reflecting and finally asked myself, “If my guy is caught red handed am I going to brush off his actions simply because he is “my guy”? That was the day I turned on him.

If and “real” evidence comes out against Cain sufficient to remove a reasonable doubt regarding these bimbo explosions, I’ll turn on him. His responses HAVE put me on the fence, but I am still facing his direction.

I've never said anything like that.

You are correct to identify Cain as a Baptist minister. Today, I read that he was willing to swear on a Bible that he did not have that affair.

... And as a Baptist minister, he knows what the implications of that swearing are.

Do you?
