1 DNA
2 Unambiguous video, audio, or hard copy evidence
3 Admission of guilt by Cain himself

These would be acceptable evidence. And so far we have none. We can only consider the source, and she doesn’t look good at all.

We don't have evidence, but we do have that strange statement from Lin Wood, Cain's attorney. If Cain is innocent of an affair, this woman is guilty of defamation of character and one would expect the attorney to respond accordingly (i.e. "my client is innocent and is being defamed and we will take appropriate action...blah, blah, blah").

But, curiously, he has said that this isn't a matter of concern for the public or the press because it is between consenting adults.

Well stated.

Unlike the characterizations of the those who would disparage Cain supporters, many of us are merely loyal to a person we believe to be a good man slandered. People forget that anyone can say anything about anyone. He could be lying to us, but that would not hold up very long. I think the golden rule should apply here. If I were to run for city council or school board, someone could slander me, ruin my career, family, and life just because they want the office.

It is not in my character to throw someone under the bus just because it is politically expedient.

The only way he loses my support is if he is PROVEN to be a liar. Otherwise this is all calumny.
