Why not 9?
Isn’t it just a number? Wasn’t that your position earlier?
You aren’t suddenly creating...standards, are you?
Yep. I’m more creeped out by her being his aunt. It’s odd that the incest factor isn’t getting as much attention as the age difference.
By the way...the fact that you don’t believe a 15 year old rapist of a 9 year old should be hung is pretty consistent with the position you’ve been putting forward here.
I say hang ‘em high.
Not as odd as your reading comprehension skills.
I’ve mentioned the incestual angle in nearly every post of mine. I’ve pointedly asked you about the incest angle. You pretended you didn’t read. When you were in high school, did you ever talk just loud enough while trashing some girl that other people could hear? You know, you want to tear her down...but you don’t want to actually confront her. She might bring up some of your own shortcomings, after all.
Interesting that you just admitted that you didn’t bother to read anything before rushing to the defense of child rape enablers.
In this instance, the boy is her brother’s son.
“Its odd that the incest factor isnt getting as much attention as the age difference.”
Somehow I also missed that the first time I read it. I didn’t notice until after I posted my first reply.
I don’t know what the incest laws are were this occurred. Some states are more restrictive than others so I don’t know if incest laws apply in this case. But it is still MORALLY wrong.
Actually, her being his aunt isn’t in the article, is it? I’m not seeing it. It’s all down in the comments at the link. I’m not sure where they’re getting that information. You’d think if that were really the case, the headline would be WOMAN SEDUCES NEPHEW AT THANKSGIVING!! Catchy, yes?
Morality has nothing to do with the law.
Isn’t that what you said about statutory rape laws?
Its a moral problem...it shouldn’t be a legal one. Your exact words.
So the same should apply for incest, correct? Just morality. No law needed.
How about bestiality? Just a moral issue.
Gee, I always heard females say they “mature” 2 years, at least, ahead of males, yet, you say a 15 year old is a little girl but a young man. It is disturbing to hear a supposed adult say such a thing. Liberals use such reasoning and statements as you. Children are not sex objects, male or female.
Kind of makes your skin crawl, doesn’t it?
I’d guess it would depend on what would catch your eye.
Some people are predisposed to be sensitive to certain phrases. I guess we know what one of yours is.
The real issue is that he has repressed cougar fantasies. He was all set to cheerlead this situation but then realized afterwards (guess he didn’t read the article) that the situation was incestual.
He has no problem with statutory rape. As long as its an older woman. If it is an older man it makes his skin crawl.
I find both equally repugnant. Anyone who seeks sexual gratification from a child is defective. Anyone who defends them is also defective. There are no lack of willing of age men. Only people with mental problems seek out a child.
“15 year old boys are RARELY a victim when it comes to having sex with a female even if she is over 18 years old.”
So, ah, say that 23 year old “woman” gets preggers. Just how is that 15 year old going to stand up to the responsibility of being the dad? I guess your liberal ways only think of “Do it if it feels good” and not the real legal issue involved.
That 23 year old adult is attempting to engage a minor in legal responsibilties such as parenting that he cannot accept and his parent most likely will not accept. This is why we have laws protecting minors from predatory adults, male or female.
He is no doubt a she. It writes like a chick.
I just want to be sure I understand you correctly.
Are you saying that a 15 year old boy does not know that what he was doing is wrong?
Are you saying that a 15 year old should not be responsible for his own behavior and actions?
If I am understanding you correctly I respectfully choose to disagree.
First, yes I do think a 15 year old boy is old enough to show the beginnings of behaving like a young man. Of course I don’t expect him to be mature beyond his years but he should know right from wrong by then at the very least, don’t you think?
I believe that a 15 year old boy is old enough to know right from wrong in this situation and should behave accordingly. I believe he should be held accountable for his actions rather than be considered a “victim”.
That makes perfect sense.
What doesn’t make sense is that you freely admit that woman-boy is ok, no victims. But man-girl is terrible.
They’re both bad. You can admit you were wrong.
“So, ah, say that 23 year old woman gets preggers. Just how is that 15 year old going to stand up to the responsibility of being the dad? “
Not very well at all. That is part of the reason I wrote in reply 107 the following which apparently you missed or decided to ignore:
“Do I think it is appropriate for a 15 year old to be engaging in such behavior? No I do not.”
He/she likes to pretend that 15 year old boys are sexually mature instead of just getting used to the hormones/feelings/equipment.
A 15 year old boy would trade anything he owned to a woman who promised him sex. If an older woman took his car in exchange, would he have been victimized?
I’d say so...because the boy is SEXUALLY IMMATURE. He doesn’t have experience.
Its like blaming a ship wreck victim for drinking salt water to quench his thirst. They’re not rational, especially when all the blood leaves the brain.
And the difference is that a WOMAN knows that, and can use it. She intentionally seeks an uneven playing field for her own purposes.
