Trump is forcefully inserting himself as the kingmaker in the GOP nomination process. The GOPers` paying tribute to that arrogant, self-worshipping, bullying blowhard is an infuriating act of submission.

Is the GOP in such sad shape that allowing a land-grabbing oligarch to have a major say in the party`s nominating process the only route to victory in 2012? If so, the Repubs have more problems than they can add up.

Props to all those who told Trump to piss off. I`d also like to see the pilgrimages and ring-kissing stop as well.

Exposure is never a bad thing...think of this as a wrestling match where the contenders get their names and personas out there.

A lot of people may not like Trump but he is what he is - a flaky, wealthy, powerful New Yorker who is actually conservative in the economic sphere and probably “out there” in the social sphere but wouldn’t want to do anything that would bother good Christians or Jews.

I don’t know about his political aspirations. Maybe they’re real, maybe they’re hair-on-fire lunacy, although I will say he’d be a heck of a lot better mayor than Bloomberg.

Bachmann - and I hate to say it because I originally liked some of the things she said (not about her kids but about the IRS, which she actually knows something about) - is obviously trying to push Romney. I don’t know why; he’s not going to pick her as his VP, and I can’t see what upside there would be for her. Or maybe she’s just a spoiler. I don’t know.

Newt will be debating Santorum.

Perry will be on bus tour campaigning face to face with Iowa Voters.

Perry’s heart is in it to win. You betcha.

So the GOP candidates should placate that a**hole so he doesn`t have a hissy and hand the election to 0bama? Appease the god, shall we?

What will drive Trump`s decision to run will be a sweetheart deal from the dems. Trump loves only one thing more than himself..and that`s $$$$... and 0bama will have a billion of them to disburse around.

I am not supporting Bachmann, but she and the husband are patriotic, honorable Americans and Christians, and don't deserve such mindless contempt.

Agreed.

Yea, Newt’s the flavor of the month.

I like a real man that when he says “I Do”, he means it.

I can trust Perry.

On topic:

I saw that Bachmann went after Romney and Newt today regarding the health mandates just like Perry did.
Interesting. First time she said something in a while that I agree with. I’ll give her kudos for that.

“My faith will guide me as president.

And what I mean by that is not just faith in God’s plan for us as a nation he has blessed, time and again.

But it is also faith in the ability of our people, with his help, to accomplish the impossible, the miraculous, as they have done before and will do again.”

Rick Perry

To be honest, the conservative voters have nothing to do with the GOP sticking their fingers in The Donald’s eyes. They are mad at him for bringing up Obammy’s constitutional qualification problems.

If that little treasonous crime were exposed, the GOP goes down with the DNC. The party leaders teamed up to pull a bi-partisan crime against the Republic. They are scared to death that he will use his access to the media to come after their treasonous butts.

This is getting silly now. Trump is going to endorse one of them, and it won’t be one that dissed him.

Perhaps the backlash against The Don’s debate is because he dared to mention the Obama eligibility issue ? He refused to kiss the GOP ring and be silent about the Usurper .

Could be. Then it may be that they consider Trump beneath them. Some I believe have legitimate reasons, scheduling, tours, etc., and I am sure Trump understands that, others are just afraid of him. I theorize that he will endorse from the ones that do attend his debate.
