I have had an iPhone sine the first in July of ‘07. I have fever had a problem with dust in the head phone hole. Also , no battery will last forever.

Incidentally — know the feeling. I refused to get windows until the only software available for anything was windows based. And I held out a long time on the iPhone. But once I got — and it was a business decision — its benefits have been incalculable, and it’s totally changed the way I view the “information revolution.”

Actually that would be incorrect. You were already saying something and then ended your statement with an unnecessary redundancy. It is not necessary to state that you are saying something when you are already saying something.

At any rate, your original statement is very wrong. The majority of iPhone users (and Apple products in general) lean to the right. Everybody knows that most liberals choose Microsoft products.

I’ve owned an Iphone as well as a new Galaxy. I don’t know what led me to buy an Iphone - I’m an open source guy who hates proprietary software with a passion. The Galaxy puts the Iphone to shame - you’ve made a good choice!

...because the typical demographic of Apple fanboys tend to lean to the left.

You will have to excuse me, but that is complete Horsesh*t. Is that clear enough for you?

From what I have observed, it is people who buy Samsung products who gaze fondly upon their wives' friends' husbands. Apples are ususally in the hands of red-blooded American constitutionalists.

Just sayin'.

Thanks for the warning. I’m afraid that buying an Apple product will change my voting pattern. Appreciate your “just saying’ “.

It will change a lot of things. I bought iPhone 4's as work phones for all my employees, and while I've not had any problems with the iPhones themselves, I'm having problems with my employees. Most were pretty conservative engineer types, but after being issued iPhones, 90% of them have ditched their spouses and moved into loft apartments with their "life partners", who just so happened to be of the same sex, almost all bought Volkswagen Bugs or Toyota Priuses, and they now talk about how Obama just needs four more years to fix America. I hear them talking about some kind of "Glee" TV show as well, instead of football.

I have an iphone 4 and have no problems. It’s not the 4s, though, which I read has battery issues.

I guess “just saying” replaced “rhetorically speaking”

It’s the same as saying “I think you know what I mean.” or maybe “Isn’t it obvious?”

Sam, you sound like an old bitter clinger like me. I despise the corruption of the American language.

That what it looks like from here. Apple somehow or other achieved a bit of a lead in smart phones for a year or two but it never takes long for open systems to outgrow closed ones.

I’m a prepaid tracfone user. Its the perfect phone for someone who has no use for all the other crap they put on cell phones these days.

Here you go.

http://blog.chron.com/techblog/2011/08/android-vs-iphone-reinforcing-some-very-silly-stereotypes/

You’ll probably find that most Blackberry users are the most Conservative, since it’s primarily business users that buy it.

.....” if the battery was designed to outlive the car, well yeah

Where is such a battery at?
It doesn't exist.
If you are going to come up with a retort, at least come up with something that makes some sense will ya?

I mean, I'd never wanted anything to do with Apple after the stunt they pulled shutting down the Atari 520ST in 85

Yeah, bitter clinger pretty much sums it up.
