These stories and editorials being floated by muckey-mucks now don’t just have to do with filing dates and “realistic” chances at the top spot on the ticket; it has to do with political jockeying for the VP slot, cabinet appointments, endorsements, campaign donations, backing by the RNC, etc. Palins commentary is a part of this manuevering; that does not make it “wrong”.
