It is NOT “fossil” fuel.

I like this story. There’s hope. If we get rid of Obama.

Plenty of available fuel scares the bejeebers out of politicians who want to “allow” the “right” kind of energy, supplied by the “right” kind of suppliers. Cost that leaves many suffering is of no consequence.

discussion of this brand of fossil fuel is as unwelcome at the family dinner table as religion and politics

It's welcome at my dinner table along with politics and religion.

When I started my career in oil & gas exploration in the early 1980’s US production was in terminal decline. I remember how I hated to admit/confirm to relatives that US exploration efforts could not replace production, and that our only practical means of achieving domestic energy sufficiency was through nuclear.

Today it is very satisfying to know that we (the domestic oil & gas industry) actually possess the means to end US dependency on imported oil.

God bless the USA!

By using Liquified Natural Gas instead of diesel in long-haul trucks, we can save a lot on imported oil, plus reducing our dependence on oil for transport.

This technology is a GLOBAL game-changer. If allowed, it means a dramatic shift in global patterns and politics.

It means... CHEAP, PLENTIFUL oil and Gas for the next 20-40 years.

Thus:

1) It CANNOT be allowed by the green-weenie political types,
2) It CANNOT be allowed by the fragile oil-economy governments that depend on petro-dollar for survivial.

Obama will ban it and the Chavez will start a war to drive up prices.
