I believe some of the nuclear plant workers either died or at least gotten very sick, but I haven't found any names or exact count.
Did some googling, apparently no workers in the plants have died or even gotten sick from radiation. There have been a couple of accidents which resulted in deaths.
A couple of workers did get burned when they walked thru contaminated water.
