Happy New Year to you, too.

I noticed yesterday when I was in Lowes that they have their seeds and seed starting supplies out. I guess that maybe I should get my seeds out and round up my stuff so that I can get an on time start for a change.

Happy New Year! I begin each gardening year with the best intentions of getting everything planted on time, yet it never happens. Figured out that I need to start my cole crop seeds indoors around the end of January, and my husband announced last night that he thought the 3rd week of January would be a good time to go on a ski trip. So, I’m scrambling in my head to refigure everything ... behind already! :)

I vow to get a sooner start this year...maters did well but the squash didn't have enough time...

Happy New year to all....may this year be the best of them all...

my inhouse failures this year has been my amaryllis...one bulb bought last year after Christmas...I think its only going to send up leaves, no flower...and 3 old bulbs that bloomed well last year...I watered them sparingly thru out the year and just nothing is happening....oh well....my success has been my Christmas cactus that put out flowers since just before Thanksgiving and still has one on it today...
