Mitt Romney Big Loser Tonight in New Hampshire
January 10, 2012 | NK_Vet

Posted on 01/10/2012 8:30:18 PM PST by NKP_Vet

With most of the vote in 62% of the voting public want someone else.

If Willard the liberal can't get at least 50% of the vote in one of his home states, where he has one of his ten mansions, how on earth does he think he can get any higher in any other state? Inquiring minds want to know.

He's only been running for president for the last five years, and still can't make the sell. Pathetic showing tonight for the RINO favorite for the nomination.

That was my take on it too

In his OWN BACK YARD he cannot get more than 35% support

That is why the liberal media want him so bad

and I bet half those voters were democrats who crossed over to vote in OUR primary

Yes, but new FR fave Newton Leroy barely polled 10%. We need new blood in this race.

The GOP throws a high-hanging curve ball to Obama... SMACK!!! Bamster hits it over the center field wall and takes a victory lap while the liberal MSM shouts with glee as the champagne glasses click at DNC headquarters.

I’m just gonna enjoy how Romney and the GOP establishment (and its whore surrogates, Coulter, Ingraham, Haley, Christie, etc.,) will try to “polish a turd” and make Romney acceptable to the public. Ain’t gonna happen.

It’s like a slow moving train wreck. You see it coming, they see it coming, but the establishment doesn’t give a damn. Oh, they’ll put on a fake face of enthusiasm, and gear up the old warhorses, but it’s like arranging deck chairs on the Titanic...the boat sinks, get over it.

After Romney flames out in November, the talking heads will try to peg it on the Tea Party, talk radio, the conservative base, and somehow, someway at the feet of Sarah Palin (yes, you read it, Sarah Palin via some twisted set of logic and sniping that she didn’t endorse good enough, fire up the based good enough, has a legacy of “bad karma” on the GOP, and so and so forth....you can bank on it because they’d be DAMNED if she ever thinks of running in 2016).

Keep your ears open when they start pimping Nikki Haley as “Palin lite” for Romney’s VP. Also keep your ears open when Jeb Bush gets slowly introduced into the press docket and speaking tour.

As long as the GOP elites have their turf and fiefdoms, they just don’t give a damn. Well, that’s not totally correct. If they can snag the Senate (and get their chairmanships back...so they can control the money) they’d be happy with their consolation prize.

Expect the Supreme Court to be altered big time, Obamacare to take full hold and for the USA to go down the European path.

OH JOY!!! OH RAPTURE!!! It makes you want to believe in the Mayan prophecies!!!

One last thing. If Romney picks Nikki Haley as his veep, just watch the establishment protect her compaired to how they treated Palin.

I agree. Romney under-performed. He fell way short of expectations.

I don’t think he will get over 25-30 percent in any state outside of New England.

Someone else who under-performed was Newt Gingrich. He spent a lot more time and money than Santorum in New Hampshire, but Santorum was able to garner a tie.

Like Romney, Gingrich fell well short of expectations.

The race is between Romney, Paul and Santorum. Santorum is now carrying the flag for the anti-Romney conservatives.

Gingrich should drop out. He is just splitting the conservative vote even though he does not have a chance.

A vote for Gingrich is a vote for Romney.

Willard can’t even get a measly 40% in his home state.

I wonder what Newt would get in Georgia, or Huck in Arkansas, or Palin in Alaska?

I would think 50% minimum.

That’s exactly the point. (Apart from his policies being anathema.)

He’s a loser. Just like Juan McQueeg.

That’s why the establishment press want him to be our nominee so badly. He’s just as big a socialist as The Usurper, so even if by some quirk he should win, we still lose.

And when push comes to shove - he won’t win.

Do you have a candidate in the race? If so, who?

Yes. Weren’t there throngs of ACORN, OWS and other rabblerousers creating disturbances all over NH the last couple of days?

Were they bussed in?

Who paid for it?

One of 10 mansions..

So you resent him because he’s rich?? That sounds more like Obama.

You could have just saved the faux attempt at analysis and just said you support Santorum.

And speaking of “under-perform, didn’t Santorum supposedly come out of Iowa with a “surge”?

I’m not so sure - I think that Newt will come back a bit and that he was hampered by Santorum’s Iowa win. I also think Perry may only be staying in until the VA court case is resolved in order to help either Santorum or Newt make the ballot and then he’ll bail; BUT I don’t think anyone else drops until after at least SC or FL.

Besides nothing will be decided until well into March in regards to delegates we have plenty of time and lots more popcorn to munch.

I do agree that The Hair under-preformed tonight though.

If Willard could build homes in all 50 states, he’d be our nominee.

Santorum said he was going to ask for pensioners to immediately accept a reduction in their S/S checks. I’m a great grandpa and I won’t let that happen. Santorom is history to the Boomers.

The majority of voters in NH also didn’t vote for any of the other candidates. Your point?
