My old laptops were always crashing, churning with loud fans and motors...this is silent. Oh I know! It stays nice and cool, too. If it gets hot or if the fan stars going loudly, it's because I've got too many large programs running at once and it's only happened a handful of times.

I’m on my new iMac. Hate the keyboard, love everything else. FR is still slow, but not as bad.

My Mac has no fan (I think)...I have never heard a peep out of it.
