You know...I heard on Fox someone saying Newt is angry. I don’t see him as ANGRY. I see him as DISGUSTED!!! Disgusted just like the majority of the American people are!
Plain disgusted with the way our government is being run!
He is giving a great speech. He says the election is about American Exceptionalism vs Obama Radicalism. He also said, it’s not the debating skill, it’s that he’s saying what Americans feel in their hearts, which is they are tired of being told they should not be American but something else.
That is one of his great talents.
I also loved his expression of appreciation for Rick Perry.
Newt was my congressman. He likes children, always came over to speak to mine, asked about their school, favorite class, what they were studying in history.
He did pretty good considering he’s a washed up politico who the evangelicals can’t trust and women despise him.
He has a strong sense of the moment, and the moment has arrived.
Newt is going to have a tough go, beginning again in Florida. FOX wants him out permanently, all media and even some conservative media pundits have been working against him hard. The Marxists, the Democrat Party and ACORN types in the street are going to try to take him OUT. They ALL fear Newt.

I love the line that he will make America so energy independent that no American preseident will ever bow to a Saudi king again! That would kill Obama in a debate.
I ended up changing the channel from Fox, because they couldn’t seem to hold their camera still.
CNN had a real-time Florida viewer approval meter scrolling across the bottom of their screen, with one line for women and the other for men.
Newt got some very clear spikes in approval, when he sounded like he did in the debates. From women.
Good speech. Very presidential.
Biggest spike of the speech (men and women) was when Gingrich pledged energy independence so no American president would ever bow to a Saudi king.
Went right off the chart.
Books by Gingrich: 17, mostly about American history and exceptionalism or restoring exceptionalism

They can spend a billion dollars if they want but they can’t hide the saboteur behind this country’s misery.
I like Santorum but he brings absolutely nothing to the ticket. Politically, his best match would be a female running mate or an African-American. Demographically, that brings strength to the ticket.

I am excited. But lets not get carried away here. This is equivalent to winning an AFC Wild Card playoff game. We got a long way to go.

The ticket will be shared with someone who can deliver either a swing state necessary to a win, or someone who can deliver a large populated state which yields meaningful delegate numbers, or someone who can cap off a particular region where the nominee may need a boost.
The need will unfold over time, but Newt may need Pennsylvania because it is generally purple, making it a swing state. And Texas has increased delegates this year, enough to make up for NOT being on the dang ballot in Virginia. Santorum or Perry may be useful on the ticket along with others.

Look I’m just being realistic. Newt will not play in the Northeast or Midwest. He is the epitome of inside political sleez. He really seemed off to me. Everyone thinks differently. But watch the tape he turned around clearly disturbed by someone in the audience. A child I think but he is angry You may think he is happy but he is not.
Newt swings for the fences. He always has.
You make valid points and I certainly think Perry would be a strong VP candidate. However, given his past history, I think Newt will want to make history and pick either a female or an African-American to be his running mate. He will look for a strong campaigner and someone who can bring him a few points in all states. He understands the demographic game and has a history of bold and brash moves.
We will see. Regardless, it is a great day to see Romney lose by 14 points when he was “supposedly ahead” just a few weeks ago.

I catch some grief for the moniker, which goes back to the Bush administration. Before that network decided their role as journalists consisted of polishing the executive loafers.
Back then, all they did was complain and declare the sky was falling.

He praised his opponents, said he embraces Ron Pauls Ideas on the treasury(which should get hime som of those voters), praised Romnney for successful business man and so on...
It was perfect in every way.
