I have decided tonight that I am all in for Newt.
I am one of those who volunteered over a hundred hours for McCain even though my heart was not in it. I already despised Obama that much.
However, despite many asking me if I would do the same for Romney, I could not say yes. Like most on this board I was burned.
I will have no doubts if the nominee is Newt.
You are certainly an interesting poster. You support a man you admire as “even tempered”, yet you come on FR and insinuate southern women are some kind of robots, Gingrich doesn’t like small children and he is some kind of sleeze (your spelling, not mine).
You’ve got the even-tempered slot about covered.
Just because someone works to protect us, to enforce the rules left for us by some brilliant men - (in fact isn’t that one of the fundamental issues in our founding documents i.e. the government protect us from enemies) - doesn’t mean we don’t participate. I’ll do what I can by voting, by working, by supporting myself, by contributing but you can’t ignore the power of POTUS.
I can’t do what POTUS can do. If I could I would stop that crazy traitor who is in the WH now.

The Southern Women I know, including a few from Texas BTW, are as opinionated as the day is long.
