And frankly, I think Rubio is right about this. The race has turned into each of them trying to see who can burn down the other's house fastest. As much as I don't like Romney, I'd still vote for him in a heartbeat over Obama.
Of course, this crud was all started by Romney in Iowa. But at this point, there are enough substantive differences between these two guys on legitimate issues that they don't need to do this bloodletting, and it is damaging our chances of taking down Obama in November.
One of those guys needs to pick up the phone, call the other, and call a truce on the personal shots.
Sen. Marco Rubio scolded Newt Gingrichs presidential campaign over a Spanish-language radio ad that accuses rival Mitt Romney of being anti-immigrant
This kind of language is more than just unfortunate. Its inaccurate, inflammatory, and doesnt belong in this campaign, Rubio told The Miami Herald when asked about the ad.
The truth is that neither of these two men is anti-immigrant, Rubio said. Both are pro-legal immigration and both have positive messages that play well in the Hispanic community.

Again, I'd much rather be hearing Rubio's positive spin on the GOP candidates as being "pro-legal immigration" and having a "positive messages that play well in the hispanic community."
I'm pro-Gingrich, but I turned off the debate when he and Mitt started trading charges about Fannie Mae, making lots of money, etc. It made me sick to my stomach, and the left has to be jumping for joy over this circular firing squad.
